Just
two words before I start preaching about religion BUY
IT! The release was scheduled for March but could be delayed
as they plan to tour in May. If this song is not a hit then the
music industry must be that far up it's own arse that they cant
smell a good shit.
Tracie Hunter is the daughter
of 70's legend Ian Hunter
and ok that does help you get phone calls returned and doors opened
but this girl is a talent in her own right, a very tough and determined
individual who seems to have a definite goal in life.

This is very much
a band situation and not a hand picked bunch of session musicians although,
recent addition famed rock bassist
Mel Gabittas did have hair down to his arse
when he joined and it's now up to his ears. "Get
into this generation" or words to that effect from Miss Hunter
seemed to knock the die hard rock stuffing out of the Sheffield stallion.
Guitarist Neil Gabittas (yes they are brothers)
has been writing with Tracy for a few years and they have come up with
some excellent material for their debut album 'Religion'
is just one of them. Those who saw them touring with
Ian Hunter last year will be pleased to note
that they have captured that raw energy that was so transparent during
their fine live shows.
This single is very
well recorded, mixed and produced; big on hooks a good subject matter
and a very good use of over-lapping backing vocals. I know someone will
read this who knows me personally and think hold on a minute don't the
Baileys and the Gabittas brothers indulge in legendary beer and curry
sessions together! The answer is unashamingfully yes! If you know us that
well you would know that if major record labels can't and never could
get any unjust favours from us than neither would any booze buddies, we
have no bias what you get is what you deserve honesty so trust me.
Religion is awesome hotter then a vindaloo amen!
